We are a folk art studio in Central Pennsylvania. We opened our shop in downtown Selinsgrove in 2001 and then in May of 2009, we moved to our new location at 2677 N. Old Trail, Shamokin Dam which is a much larger building and will allow us to have a classroom where we will be offering classes. 

Originally, we did not make any of our wooden pieces but after I had been painting for about eight years and was not able find the kind of things I wanted to paint on at the quality I wanted, Dennis and I purchased several wood working tools and began making our own wood pieces.  It seemed like everyone had boxes of all kinds, plaques, and small items so we decided to move "outside the box" and make larger pieces that truly would become heirlooms.  We began by making different kinds of sleds and sleighs.  Our wood pieces are high quality and require very little sanding.   

In May of 2007, we were privileged to be asked by Dallas Fisher, Custom Wood by Dallas, to begin carrying his line. We will now be making all of your favorite pieces that Dallas made including his much loved paint racks.
